O God, I sometimes think that I have the hardest job of all, because what I am really trying to do is make bad people good and to make foolish people wise. Help me never to lose patience; never to abandon hope; never to regard anyone with loathing or contempt; never to stop caring. Make me always sympathetic to failure; patient with folly; firm with shiftlessness, stern to cruelty, resolute against those who make vice and evil easier for others. Above all, never let love grow cold within my heart. Lord Jesus, you came to seek and to save that which was lost, and it is your work that I am still trying to do. Amen.
Seminarian's Prayer
O Holy Virgin, our Lady of Trust,
Kind and loving Mother of seminarians
Throughout the world,
Your presence once brought joy
To the first apostles of Gospel
As they waited tensely and eagerly
In the Cenacle
For the coming of the Divine Spirit.
Look down upon us now,
As we stir with the same eager longing for grace
And for a priestly zeal that will be holy
And bring holiness to others.
Just as you have been our morning star,
So always remain the serene joy
Of our vocation,
The safeguard of our purity,
The flame of our work
In the service of Jesus
And of the souls redeemed by his Blood
And of his Church,

Prayer for Priest
O almighty eternal God,
Look upon the face of your Christ,
And for love of him
Who is the eternal High- priest.
Remember, O, most compassionate God,
That they are but weak
And frail human beings.
Stir up in them the grace of their vocation
Which is in them close to you,
Lest the enemy prevail against them,
So that they may never do anything
In the slightest degree unworthy
Of their sublime vocation.
O Jesus, I pray you for your faithful
And fervent priest;
For your unfaithful and tepid priest;
For your priest laboring at home
Or abroad in distant mission fields;
For your lonely and desolate priests;
For your young priests;
For your aged priest;
For your sick priest;
For your dying priest;
For the souls of your priest in purgatory.
But above all, I commend to you
The priest dearest to me;
The priest who baptized me;
The priest who absolved me from my sins;
The priest at whose Masses I assisted
And who gave me your Body and Blood in holy communion;
The priest who taught and instructed me
Or helped and encouraged me;
All the priest to whom I am indebted
In any other way, particularly__________.
O Jesus, keep them all close to your heart,

Spirit of God, creative inspiration of all that we do which is beautiful. We thank you for painting, sculpture, music, drama and literature and all the endeavors which point us beyond ourselves. We thank you for every enrichment of our humanity and for the dedication which so naturally follows. Amen.
Almighty God, you are the divine Artist. I come to you with complete humility. I thank you for the talent you lent me. I thank you for the skill that you made me learn. I thank you for the vision of art that you made me see. And most of all. I thank you for the gift of life you have entrusted to me.
Heavenly Father, please continue to enlighten me, with pure and modest ideas.
Please help me share this talent to others; take my hand and guide me to draw and create beautiful things; hold me and let me see more of those wonderful scenes to photograph; touch and inspire me to design with fresh ideas so others can see; and feel your goodness through my work of art; deliver me from evil works and guide me to the right path.
Dear God, as an artist, I turn myself to you through my projects and ideas, let me be your instrument to spread your holy name all these for you and your only Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Even with just the tiniest spark
Of your Divine Wisdom
So that as I do my work,
It is really your work that is done.

Lord God, King of the Universe, you are the sole source of growth and abundance. With your help I plant my crops and by your power they give forth a harvest. Grant me the grace always to work with all my strength and ingenuity in cultivating the soil so that it will bring forth fruits for my benefit and the benefits of all who will use them. Make me ever aware that without my part in the work of harnessing the goods of the earth these particular goods would be lacking to my brothers and sisters in this world. Enable me at the same time to realize that without your part in this process I would be working in vain. Accept my thanks for your continuous past help and your never-failing assistance in the future. Amen.

for giving me the chance
to teach my students everyday.
Bless my mind, O Lord,

In everything to guide them in life.
Bless my heart, O Lord,

That I may teach them the skills needed

to support them in life.
Lastly, bless my whole being, O Lord,
That I may be a living example
Of all the good things that I teach them.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach me with the knowledge of both secular and religious subjects that is necessary to my task on earth. Let me have the suitable qualifications and a pedagogical skill that are in harmony with the discoveries of the contemporary world. Help me to be united with my students by the bond of love, and work in partnership with their parents. Even after their graduation, let me continue to assist them with my advice and friendship. Bestow on me and apostolic spirit to bear witness, both by life and by instruction, to you, the divine Teacher. Amen

Dear Lord, source of hope and our way to salvation
Guide them as they travel.
Lead them on the right path,
And never let them depart from You.
Grant them a safe journey from the home they leave behind
To their respective destinations:
May they find true and honest friends,
May they encounter caring and gracious employers,
May they have decent and rewarding jobs,
May they have a peaceful stay,
May their sacrifices bear good and lasting fruits.
Watch over them and always lead them safely back home:
Keep them away from any harm and danger,
Spare them from sickness and accident,
Protect them from embarrassment and humiliation,
And deliver them from scandal and shame.
Stay by their side and always remind them of their true home:
As pilgrims, we are just passing in this world,
As Your creatures, we must return to You,
As Your servants, we must lead others to Heaven.
Watch over O Lord, those whom they leave behind;
Let their homes be always safe,
Let their children be always secured and responsible,
Let their love remain always faithful,
And let what they earn be spent for good.
Watch over us as we are away from one another.
With your grace and blessing, may we see each other again:
To enjoy once more each others company,
To hear and listen to our own life-stories,
And more than ever, to accompany one another
On the road that leads back to You.
Lord, please lead them safely back home. AMEN.
